Long time, no post! (on my part anyway lol). Hope you're all very well >_<
Just a short outfit of the day post for the blog. I liked my outfit today so I decided to take a by chance photo and post it. My obsession for the past few months have been coats and jackets. Not surprising considering how cold it STILL is in London.
Sooo....A story to tell...
Do you guys remember when this coat came out at ZARA for a small (big) fortune. Ooo I wanted it so bad! but I just could not bring myself to fork out so much for a coat! Well guys... as the saying goes 'nothing haunts us like the things we don't buy'. I really regretted not getting it from Zara because even though it came on sale later on...my size was sold out in every single store I went to and my soul sank. I tried to convince myself that I didn't want it anyway because too many girls had them. But the little voice in my head kept replying back to me 'Lies you tell!'
I kept seeing girls EVERYWHERE sporting (a variation of) the coat looking as amazing as I don't know what! I decided to revive my hunt for it. Sure enough, I came across it again, this time on ASOS, the price on there discouraged me...AGAIN...and I thought to myself, I'll wait til it goes on sale....AGAIN...then it wasn't available in my size anymore....AGAIN! So you can just imagine my frustration at this point ladies...
No joke guys, I had a dream one night that I had the coat, and I was wearing it, walking down a street, absolutely feeling myself! (Real Shopaholic Syndrome)
So you know when I woke up I was back on my mission. I had no luck until I randomly saw this girl on instagram who has her own boutique and was selling these coats, (in different colours might I add) for just a fraction of the price I had seen them on ASOS and in Zara. I've never been so quick in purchasing something! I bought the coat in two amazing colours, the one you see here and also one in a rich royal blue colour.
I highly recommend these coats ladies, they're not exactly winter coats as they have no lining so they can still be worn during spring and even on cooler summer nights . They just bring any outfit to life. I bought this tan one a size bigger than my usual size to get an oversized look and have the coat look longer on me than its meant to. I will also do a post on the blue one soon.

Moral of the story is
Although nothing haunts us like the things we don't buy, GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT! lol
(I got the coat that I wanted for so much more cheaper)
