Hey everyone! It's that time again.. another outfit post for ya!
So you notice the title of this post yes? Here's the short story behind it; when I was younger, my mum loved to buy me clothes that were way too big on me and dismiss my teary eyes when they didn't fit with the reply 'don't worry, you'll grow into it!' She wasn't always right ¬_¬ but she really made a terrific home-run with this one. She bought this blouse for me when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I didn't exactly hate it at the time but due to it being too big on me, I wanted nothing to do with it, so I banished it to my suitcase of clothes that were never to see the light of day. And there it stayed.. until the day I saw Lauren London wearing it at an event quite a few years back.
You can imagine how quickly I dug this blouse back up .. the influence was so real lol! Long story short, this blouse has never been back to that suitcase full of castaways and it has been dubbed the 'Lauren London blouse'. It's now one of my favourites for the summer time because it's flowy and hangs on the body in a cutesy way as you can see, it's style and comfort, really can't complain. Moral of the story: Mother knows best....*sometimes* lol.
It's been such a glorious week and it looks like the weekend is going to be even better.. finally! Hope your'e all enjoying the sun, Summer is upon us! Which can only mean one thing ... a Summer Lookbook is on its way, yayy!
