If you’re someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy hitting the shops for a spree, then it’s more than likely that internet shopping is your thing – or maybe you find both methods of shopping quite daunting. Either way – this post is for you. I have a few posts already talking about how to shop in person. So now this - my tips for shopping online should – hopefully – make for a better experience for those of us (including myself) who do not particularly like shopping online.
#1 - Make use of those filters!
Hate to be the one to say it but you are a terrible online shopper if you do not use those filters. It's one of the great benefits shopping online has over shopping in person. the filters are designed to make life easier and more convenient for you - so why not use it. I used to ignore it all the time but I've now come to realise that it is a big time saver and you can avoid a few disappointments by utilising this tool.
#2 - Window Shop
How does one window shop online you ask? Just go to the website of your choice and chuck everything you desire in the basket. Any and everything you like the look of. Once you are done you can really filter through what you've chucked in there. If you're on a budget, get rid of what you do not absolutely need, get rid of anything you are not 100% sure about. No doubt you'll be left with a few items that you can feel justified in spending your hard earned money on.
#3 - Compare & Contrast similar items on different online stores
Open up a few tabs and find you some bargains for what you are looking for.
#4 - Take notice of the product description and any reviews!
**Very Important** for a satisfactory online shopping experience.Don't play yourself and assume things by the picture you see - of course it looks good in the image - they want you to buy it! Certain online stores can be a little snakey when it comes to how they present their products for sale. Read the product description and any reviews if available to make an informed decision
#5 - Do not get caught up on the image of the model
That model is not you! That item of clothing will more than likely not look the same way on you. Always take yourself into consideration and try to imagine what the item would like on you and how you would style it.
#6 - Save some Coins!
There's always discount deals running on online stores, keep an eye out for codes and delivery offers and peruse in the sales sections also.
