OUTFIT / TUNNEL VISION

Hi Loves!
HAPPY EASTER SUNDAYY! Hope you're all doing well.

I'm very proud to bring this outfit post to you today - not because this outfit is anything spectacular - but just because this outfit post almost didn't happen.
As I'm sure a lot of you know - or don't know - blogger life is a real struggle! Until I became a blogger/content creator myself, I never truly appreciated what it took to post a good instagram picture or post a good blog post. Now I know all about it. So when I manage to make one little post like this happen - it's a helluva celebration!

So you see the instagram photos and they're all very pretty and seem so effortless [lol], and they look like they could've taken an hour at most to achieve. If only!

Let me tell you that just shooting for this here post took damn near a whole day. Not even a good whole day. It was a day of mishaps and things going left. I don't even know how I managed to finish doing my makeup without throwing my brushes in the air, screaming and getting right back into bed for the rest of the day. I mean my mind definitely wanted to, but something - I don't know what - subconsciously kept me moving, past all the mishaps and all the things that were going wrong around me. I managed to finish my makeup, get dressed, pack my camera and head out the door with my sister.

As my sister and I were on our way to the location I could feel my mind giving up again. It was late in the day - the daylight was beginning to dim and the walk to the bus stop seemed longer than it usually is. But there was something in me that was very determined, and thank God that that something was louder than the negative voice in my mind telling me to just turn back around and go home to the comfort of my bed and the warm embrace of procrastination.

But I walked on. And then I found myself repeating 'Don't give up' to myself 3 times. I didn't even know I was doing it until my sister looked over at me puzzled and asked what I was doing. I explained that for some weird reason I was feeling defeated even as we were walking to the bus stop and I was so close to telling her lets go back home

To be quiet honest I felt quite 'blah' the whole journey to the location. I had a coughing fit that almost made us turn back home but again, that little fire of determination was well lit inside me. Then my sister took out the camera and it was show time. And it all came together. It flowed. And I felt SO happy that I pushed through the day.

So if you ever see any content creator pushing their work on your timelines or home pages - show some love - I promise you it took them every strength to come up with that content.

Wherever your destination is in life, wherever you are trying to go and whatever you are trying to achieve - you need complete Tunnel Vision. Complete focus is so important. More times than not, we are our own blockades and we hold ourselves back from reaching our fullest potentials. When your own mind is feeding you negative thoughts go against yourself and do the opposite. It's difficult but literally push through. You'll always feel great about it in the end. Block out the mishaps, any and everything that might be going wrong around you - and focus on your bigger picture.

In other news I hope you guys like this outfit! It seems to me like the colour blue is going to be quite the trend this summer as every store seems to have an abundance of items in blue. I love this shirt from TKMaxx. It's a size Large and does not come originally tied up - I've just styled it this way to make it look more cutesy.. Did it work? I think so lol.

Scroll through for more pics and outfit details and share this post with someone who you think would love this outfit ^_^

Have a blessed week!
